Seven Nations
On Wednesday, August 5, 2009, the internationally renowned Celtic Rock band
Seven Nations
will take the stage at
Frank O’Dowd’s Irish Pub
& Grill in Galena, Illinois. Don't miss this
rare opportunity to hear such an acclaimed band in this intimate setting.
Formed in 1993, Seven Nations takes its name from the seven nations of the Celtic world,
including Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Brittany, Cornwall, the Isle of Man and
Galicia (in Spain). Having logged more than 250,000 touring miles, Seven Nations
has showcased their hybrid sound in pubs and festivals across the world for more than 15
years.
The band's huge audience embraces their hybrid sound derived from their love of
their two cultural music backgrounds - Celtic roots music and American pop and rock
& roll.
The band’s lineup includes lead singer and guitarist Kirk McLeod, Jim “Struby” Struble
on acoustic and bass guitar, Dan Stacey on fiddle, Scott Long on bagpipes and Christian
“Crisco” Miceli on drums.
Tickets are $7 at the door or available in advance by calling 866.284.7474.
