Masoko Tanga ("The Police" Tribute Band)
On Thursday, May 28, 2009, Masoko Tanga, will take over the stage at Frank O’Dowd’s Irish Pub
& Grill
in Galena, Illinois, and bring the greatest
hits of "The Police" to the Keltic Koncert
Series.
Masoko Tanga is a high energy trio from the
south side of Chicago playing the music of "The Police." Turning out
hit after hit, from the raw beginnings to the sad bitter end of their
musical career.
You'll hear all your favorites - "Fallout," "Roxanne,"
"Message in a
Bottle" and even "Synchronicity I and II," "King of Pain," and "Wrapped Around
Your Finger."
Masoko Tanga's line up is comprised of Bob Hoggatt on
bass guitar and lead vocals, Joe Arteaga on drums and vocals, and Dave
Waterman on lead guitar and vocals. As long time admirers of Sting,
Stuart, and Andy, Masoko Tanga is the "real deal" for true fans of
"The Police!"
