Plan a Galena Wedding
Our goal is to make each event at The Irish Cottage as unique as the relationship
it celebrates. With many ceremony, reception and rehearsal locations to choose from
and a completely customizable food & beverage program, you'll be able to create
a celebration that reflects your personalities and family traditions.
Planning a wedding with us is little different than working with traditional wedding venues.
Here's a guide to get you started:
Steps to Planning a Wedding at The Irish Cottage
1. Decide which Events you will Celebrate at The Irish Cottage.
The Irish Cottage Boutique Hotel and
Frank O'Dowd's Irish Pub & Grill can host your
Ceremony,
Reception and/or
Rehearsal. If you'd
prefer to host one of your gatherings off site, consider One Eleven Main
and Vinny Vanucchi's 'Little Italy'.
All of our businesses are family-owned and operated and located within a short drive of each other.
2. Select your Specific Site for Each Event.
Now it's time to select the specific site for each event. Review the Ceremony,
Reception and
Rehearsal pages on this website to preview each of our
beautiful locations and select the one that is perfect for your ceremony, reception and/or rehearsal.
3. Plan Your Menu and Bar Service.
This is one of the most exciting aspects of planning a wedding at The Irish Cottage. Since we don't
offer "standard" packages, we won't impose requirements on your celebration. Consider your hors d'oeurves,
entrees and dessert options by reviewing our food selections.
Then select from one of our various beverage services.
4. Work with our In-House Wedding Consultant to Design the Perfect Event.
Our dedicated Wedding Consultant will work with you to build the perfect package. The Wedding Consultant
will assist in developing your menus, reviewing your location options and providing names and numbers
for local vendors that will make your special day unique.
Whether you want to serve sophisticated hors d'oeurves, entrees showcasing
adventurously paired ingredients and/or sweets that remind you of your childhood,
we can create the perfect menu for each of your wedding events. If you don't see
something you have your heart set on, don't be afraid to ask, our culinary team
may be able to accommodate your special request.
