distinctive 90+ rated wines available
by the
bottle at The Auld Dubliner Lounge at The Irish
Cottage Boutique Hotel, Frank O'Dowd's Irish Pub & Grill,
One Eleven Main and
Vinny Vanucchi's 'Little Italy'. The reserve list offers some of hotel owner
and restaurateur Jack Coulter’s favorites and
is packed with sought after, hard-to-find wines
painstakingly crafted by some of the most
renowned wineries from around the world.
Each wine is exceptional in flavor and crafted with care
and precision. The following are a few wines
featured on Jack’s Reserve Wine List:
Krug Grande Cuvee Brut Champagne (95 pts)
This timeless and stylish multi-vintage champagne is painstakingly blended by the Krug family from as many as 50 wines and 6 to 10 different vintages.
Each year the Krug family works from taste and memory alone to recreate this consistently complex and elegant champagne.
Newton “Unfiltered” Chardonnay (93 pts)
Touted by Robert Parker of The Wine Advocate as “one of the best and long-lived California Chardonnays,” Newton Vineyard
crafts this wine using old-world winemaking
techniques.
The wine is bottled unfiltered to preserve the natural fruit essence and to foster the wine's
unique aroma and flavor.
Opus One (90 pts)
Opus One meticulously creates this limited release hand-crafted wine during a gentle and unhurried winemaking process. The winery’s focus on just one wine is
apparent in the end product, an outstanding blend
of five grape varieties.
Inniskillin “Niagara Peninsula” Icewine (94 pts)
The concentrated and intense flavors of Inniskillin Icewine
are created when grapes are left on the vine
well into the winter months. The frozen clusters
are hand-picked and pressed in the extreme cold.
During pressing the water in the grape remains
frozen and just a few coveted drops are
harvested.
