The Auld Dubliner Lounge at the Cottage
The Auld Dubliner Lounge, the newest addition at
The Irish Cottage Boutique Hotel, is a place to relax, socialize and enjoy top-rated wines,
premium spirits, and "Small Bites" appetizers. Located adjacent to the W.B. Yeats Library and merely steps from Frank O’Dowd’s Irish Pub,
the Lounge is named after the famous Auld Dubliner Bar situated in the heart of the Temple Bar District in Dublin, Ireland.
With its comfortable leather couches, over-sized chairs, granite-topped gas fireplace, and watercolor portraits of famous Irish pubs,
The Auld Dubliner Lounge is a cozy retreat to relax with friends or your special someone after enjoying a meal and lively entertainment
in Frank O’Dowd’s Irish Pub.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, The Auld Dubliner Lounge offers premium martinis, specialty cappuccino
& espresso drinks, Frank O’Dowd’s extensive beer
and spirits list, and Jack’s Reserve Wine List. Wine enthusiasts will savor a selection from Jack’s
90+ Reserve List which features
hard-to-find wines by the bottle from around the world.
For private gatherings, The Auld Dubliner Lounge can
accommodate cocktail receptions for up to 70 and sit down meals for up to
24.
It can also serve as a hospitality suite and informal gathering place for meetings and groups.
Irish Cottage co-owners, Jack Coulter and Basil Conroy, invite you to visit
The Auld Dubliner Lounge to experience a little
bit of Ireland in Galena, Illinois.
