Local Desserts at One Eleven Main
 One Eleven Main’s dedication
to supporting local food purveyors and featuring regional product is apparent not only in its appetizer and entrée selection,
but also throughout the dessert menu. One Eleven's
dessert selections include pies and baked goods by Galena baker Cindy Sedan, of Cynthia’s Extra Batch,
and confections by Galena’s Kandy Kitchen.
Executive Chef Ryan Boughton and Cindy Sedan collaborate to develop pies exclusively for One Eleven Main’s dessert menu.
Pies change seasonally and showcase local
ingredients when available. Current pie selections include:
Strawberry Shortcake
– three layers of homemade strawberry shortcake glazed with orange liqueur and topped with homemade whipped cream.
Lemon Blueberry Tart with Hazelnut Crust
– lemon custard and Wooded Wonderland
blueberries nestled in a hazelnut crust served with homemade whipped cream,
strawberry sauce and vanilla anglaise.
Many of One Eleven Main 's desserts feature signature products by Cynthia’s Extra Batch
including whiskey butter cookies and biscotti.
Cookies & Milk –
Cynthia's Extra Batch whiskey butter cookies and homemade rum mousse served with a carafe of ice cold milk.
Banana Pudding – homemade banana pudding layered with
Cynthia's Extra Batch whiskey butter cookies topped with homemade whipped cream and a chocolate lattice.
Creme Brulee – a rich custard base topped with a layer of hard caramel served with
a Cynthia's Extra Batch chocolate chip biscotti.
Currently, Galena’s Kandy Kitchen is the featured confectionary sampler dessert.
Kandy Kitchen Sampler – a
trio of Kandy Kitchen confections including a pogo stick
(pretzel stick coated with caramel, chocolate and pecans); a dark chocolate vanilla cream candy and a milk chocolate caramel.
