New Wine List at Frank O'Dowd's
  Dedicated
to providing an outstanding food and wine experience, the staff at Frank O'Dowd's has searched for the perfect collection of wines to complement Frank O’Dowd’s Irish Pub cuisine.
Extensive tastings of wines from around the world resulted in
an expanded wine list featuring nearly 30 wines by the glass.
Char Scace, Pub manager, looked for the perfect
wines to balance the rich flavors of Frank O'Dowd's menu.
The new wine list features restaurant-exclusive releases by Salmon Creek Winery; more offerings in each variety; and
many new wine selections including Gnarly Head Zinfandel (California),
Bianchi Elsa Malbec (Argentina), and Drylands Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand).
Our most popular wines remain on the list including Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling, Ironstone Obsession, Chateau St. Jean Chardonnay and Kelly’s Revenge Shiraz.
Through our tasting adventures, we discovered a few hidden gems including a Muscato from August Hill Winery in Utica, Illinois. This slightly sparkled wine is made from grapes
hand-harvested from a vineyard in southern Illinois. Natural Golden Muscat juice is added to the fermented wine to add sweetness and heighten the fruit character.
This dessert wine is the perfect ending to a meal at Frank O'Dowd's Irish Pub & Grill.
