  DAY
ONE
Check in at The Irish Cottage Boutique Hotel. Purchase a 1/2 bottle of wine at the front desk to enjoy while you unwind and relax in the comfort of your room.
For the ultimate convenience, enjoy dinner and drinks at Frank O’Dowd’s Irish Pub, located mere steps from the lobby.
The extensive wine list features nearly 30 wines by the glass. After dinner, find a quiet corner in the W.B. Yeats Library or The Auld
Dubliner Lounge and sip an after dinner drink. If you’re visiting on a Friday or Saturday night, plan to return to the pub to enjoy Irish dancing
and live entertainment.
DAY TWO
If you’re staying midweek, ask The Irish Cottage staff to deliver your complimentary Deluxe European Breakfast basket to your
guestroom. On weekends,
hotel guests enjoy a complimentary hot Boutique Breakfast served in
the Pub.
Spend the morning meandering Galena’s historic Main Street, located a moment’s drive from The Irish Cottage. Visit Galena’s many specialty food,
confectionary and wine shops to take home a taste of Galena. To sample locally-produced wines, stop at Galena Cellars Vineyard & Winery’s Main
Street Tasting Room.
Make One Eleven Main your destination for lunch. Their “local flavor cuisine” showcases the talents of local farmers, artisans and food
purveyors. One Eleven Main showcases wines from
many local vineyards.
After lunch, continue shopping along Galena’s Main Street or take a scenic drive to one of the area’s local wineries for a tour and tasting. Galena
Cellars Vineyard & Winery (Galena), Massbach Ridge Winery (Elizabeth) and Rocky Waters Vineyard/Winery (Hanover) are all within a 30 minute drive.
Return to Galena’s Main Street for dinner at Vinny Vanucchi’s ‘Little Italy’. Vinny’s boasts a serious wine program with nearly 50 wines by the
bottle. Relax and savor your escape together with a glass of vino and one of Vinny’s made-from-scratch Italian favorites.
DAY THREE
Sleep in and then enjoy a leisurely breakfast at The Irish Cottage Boutique Hotel.
