The retro-sonic concept band The Neverly Brothers will perform their energetic and melodic stage show Thursday, September 18, 2008, at Frank O’Dowd’s Irish Pub in Galena, Illinois.

Using two acoustic guitars, an upright bass, drums, and vocal harmonies The Neverly Brothers take audiences on a virtual rock history tour. Their song sequence and selection, accompanied by historical footnotes, illustrates how the music and energy of the 1950s American Rockabilly pioneers set the stage for the adventurous young bands of the British Invasion.

The Neverly Brothers are true entertainers. Their show features spirited renditions of hits by the Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbinson, Gene Vincent, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bobby Fuller Four and many other artists who shaped rock n’ roll from 1955 through 1965.
