Irish Céilidh
April 20-21, 2012
Join us for a special weekend of traditional Irish song, dance and feast!
Legendary Irish entertainers Paddy Homan and
Jimmy Moore will light up the Frank O'Dowd's
stage, plus our Irish dancers will energize
Frank O'Dowd's Irish Pub with dynamic performances.
Since no
Irish celebration is complete without traditional Irish food and drink,
for
this weekend only, our complimentary Hot Irish Breakfast will return!
Paddy Homan
Originally from Cork, Paddy Homan is the winner of two 2010 Livies awarded by
Dublin-based LiveIreland which touts that "His self-titled, first album is an instant
classic...This is the real voice of Ireland. Simple. Unadorned. Clear. Perfect."
Jimmy Moore
A native of County Kilkenny, Ireland, Jimmy Moore is a multi-instrumentalist and plays guitar,
bass, whistles, banjo, buzouki, keyboards and fiddle (for his own amazement only).
He developed an interest in songwriting while living in Nashville and has had his music
recorded and performed by Chet Atkins, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash.
